About Us
Thiyagam Women Trust is registered under the Charitable Trust Act,
(Regd No.900/06) established to serve the physically challenged
women for their all round development with a touch of loving care and
concern.
The Trust is mainly focusing on the rural women with disabilities
and empowers them to stand on their own legs. We create
opportunities for self employment and provide environment to take up
the challenges of life in an optimistic way with determination. We
believe that the attitude of Positive ness coupled with a heart of
abundance is the key to joyful life.
We inculcate the
attitude of gratitude in all our efforts and counsel the challenged
women to count their blessings and happily share it with others.
OBJECTIVE:
- Dedicated to the cause of Physically Challenged Rural Women.(PCW)
- To provide residential care to PCW and developing models for self-help initiatives.
- To provide awareness and happiness to public through cultural Group.
- Creation, training and empowering PCW on employment, Self-employment opportunities.(Tailoring Computer )
- To provide thrust on value based life through education among rural children and PCW.
- To set up Information Centre for PCW and enlist the support of all segments of society, including Government, in promoting the cause of PCW.
- To collaborate with individuals, organisations or movements with similar objectives and integrating PCW with the mainstream for improved living condition in the village.
- Dedicated to the ideal of Universal love and service beyond caste, creed, religion or region.
